Logan Marshall – 2017 Carolina Surf Filmmaker of the Year
Logan Marshall is a seventeen year old film-maker and photographer. After winning the Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce “My OBX” Photo Contest, the Dare County Arts Council reached out to Marshall about making a student film for the Surfalorus Film Festival. Using the money Logan won from the photo contest, he bought a new camera enabling him to make the film. Limitless was Logan’s first film ever. He screened his film at several different events and film festivals.
2017 Carolina Surf Filmmaker of the Year
Logan Marshall won his first title as the Carolina Surf Filmmaker of the Year in 2017. He is the youngest person to win this award (made the film at sixteen years old).
The Filmmaker of the Year award is presented by the Carolina Surf Film Festival. LIMITLESS was screened as part of the Carolina Surf Film Festival in Wilmington NC, and Charleston SC. Logan chases a second title as Carolina Surf Filmmaker of the Year with his latest short film “Algid Fevers”
